RCAF CT-157 Siskin II (Pilatus PC-21)

AERO Gatineau-Ottawa is thrilled to announce that a Royal Canadian Air Force CT-157 Siskin II (Pilatus PC-21) will fly as part of our airshow on both Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20.  Be among the first in Canada to see this exciting new training aircraft in the air! Our partners at SkyAlyne are bringing the first two of the CT-157 Siskin II to AERO Gatineau-Ottawa this weekend.  They will be on static display and one will fly on both Saturday and Sunday. Having recently completed production test flights and factory acceptance in Stans, Switzerland, the aircraft will be travelling to Canada for delivery to the RCAF. The aircraft will serve in the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program for both the Advanced Flying Training – Fixed Wing (AFT-FW) and Advanced Flying Training – Jet (AFT-Jet) courses, helping prepare the next generation of Canadian military pilots for operational service. The two-seat CT-157 Siskin II features a 1,600-horsepower Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A turboprop engine and can reach speeds of up to 685 km/h. The aircraft can sustain g-forces from positive 8G to negative 4G, providing the performance and capability required for advanced military aviation training. The avionics also include several made-in-Canada components. Visitors to AERO Gatineau-Ottawa 2026 will have an opportunity to see the CT-157 Siskin II up close and learn more about how FAcT is helping transform RCAF aircrew training in Canada.
