Airline pilot and flight instructor Alexis Mongeau has logged more than 8,000 flight hours. After spending thousands of hours flying across the globe, from the Canadian North to European capitals, he discovered in aerobatics a new way to express his love of flight and to share its beauty with the public. This year, his transition to the Yak-52TW marks a new step in his journey, allowing him to push his maneuvers further and deliver an even more dynamic performance.
Aero Gatineau-Ottawa holds a very special place for Alexis, as it was there that he performed his very first airshow in 2025. Returning to AeroGatineau therefore carries special meaning for him. Through his participation, he hopes to share the energy, elegance, and intensity of aerobatic flight while showcasing his passion for the world of aviation.
