AERO Gatineau-Ottawa takes off one week earlier in 2027!

AERO Gatineau-Ottawa today announced that the 2027 edition of the show will now take place on September 10-12 2027, a week earlier than previously announced.  The show will again be held at the Gatineau Airport. 

“The dates of AERO Gatineau-Ottawa have traditionally been set to ensure that Canada’s Snowbirds would be available to perform,” says John Bennett, Executive Director of AERO Gatineau-Ottawa. “With the Snowbirds team retiring their Tutor jets and not performing over the coming years, the airshow team has been able to consider other options”

“Moving to the second weekend in September will reduce longstanding conflicts between our dates and other major air shows,” explains Bennett. “We believe that will in turn mean we can attract and present new performers and aircraft we weren’t able to welcome in the past.”

The air show team will be attending the upcoming International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) convention in December, to confirm new performers for AERO Gatineau-Ottawa 2027.
