Stunning Wingwalking with Carol Pilon

Originally from Masham, Outaouais, our special guest Carol Pilon has been a professional wingwalker for over twenty years.

She has walked on the most powerful planes, a jetwaco with 3000 HP available, and the least powerful, an ultra light quicksilver with 45 HP.

During her career, she has achieved many firsts:
– First and only woman to walk on a jet plane.
– First and only Canadian wingwalker.
– She is the first woman, Canadian and wingwalker to own and manage a team in North America.

Carol and her team were the main characters in the Discovery Channel’s Airshow. The show aired in 2015 in Canada, Europe, Latin America, Arabia, and Africa, attracting 17 million viewers worldwide for twelve weeks.

In 2016, Carol and Third Strike Wingwalking were featured again in a ten-series docu-drama called Sky Gods on the History Channel. She was featured in a National Geographics virtual reality mini-documentary that garnered 3.8 million views.

Carol owns two airplanes. She is an FAA certified airframe technician. She received her solo proclamation in 1990, her first jump certificate in 1989 from the Canadian Sport Parachuting Association, and her AFF certification in 2017. She is also a U.S. DOT certified power carrier, published author and aviation artist.

Over the course of her career, she has performed in front of millions of people on the North American circuit, in Canada, the United States, Mexico and even the United Kingdom. Step on it, Baby!

Carol has experience in dual wingwalking, formation wingwalking, night pyro wingwalking and she simply excels in solo wingwalking, the show she will be performing in Gatineau.
