HOW TO GET THERE?
Please leave early and get ready to be patient, both to access the site and to get out. Access is a challenge for all air show organizers, as there is usually only one route to airports. We are doing everything we can, in collaboration with the City of Gatineau Police Department, to facilitate access but be advised; waiting is part of the experience!
The air show takes place at the Gatineau-Ottawa Executive Airport, located approximately 20 km east of Ottawa. From downtown Gatineau or Ottawa, follow the signs to the Gatineau-Ottawa Executive Airport, take Highway 50 East for about 15 minutes and exit at 154 Boulevard de l’Aéroport. (GPS: 1717 Arthur Fecteau Street, Gatineau, QC, J8R 2Z9).
Parking is free and available east and west of the airport. Police and volunteers will direct you to the lots. Shuttle buses (STO and school buses) run between the parking areas and the main gate of the show. Buses are equipped with compartment for strollers, however please consider that the space could fill up quickly. Parking for disabled parking permit holders is available in front of the airport terminal, again spaces are limited to the capacity of this parking.
To plan your bus trip (disembarkation on Maloney and 1km walk), consult the STO’s Planibus.
Aero Gatineau-Ottawa will take place rain or shine. Many of the air performances can adapt to weather conditions, and ground activities such as exhibits and kiosks will be accessible to the public, regardless of the weather. Wear comfortable walking shoes, as the air show ground is large and the grassy road is uneven in places.
Prepare yourself for an outdoor day. Do not forget to bring sunscreen or a hat to protect you from the sun. Drink water to avoid dehydration. Bring your bottles, filling stations will be available this year! Note that Lockheed Martin, our official presenter, will distribute thousands of reusable bottles at the entrance of the site … and more surprises await you!
The air show security service reserves the right to carry out a manual search of all backpacks and purses. Do not leave garbage lying around, they could be sucked up by aircraft engines, so please put them in the trash or recycling bin nearest you. If you are sensitive to noise or if you have children who might be, please consider wearing hearing protectors (earplugs, helmets, etc.).
FOOD, DRINKS AND COOLERS
There will be some food concessions on the site, but participants may bring snacks. Thus, food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted (no container or bottle in glass). However, large coolers are prohibited except for small sizes used to carry essential medicines and infant formula. Food kiosks only accept cash. There is an ATM in the airport terminal, but it might not provide on demand.

If you purchased your tickets online, please have a printed or prominent copy on your mobile device handy to facilitate traffic at the main gate. The bar codes will be scanned. Skip the line and buy your tickets now here.
The following items are prohibited: animals, alcoholic beverages, coolers, tents, bicycles, in-line skates, ladders, large and beach umbrellas, glass or polystyrene containers. It is strictly forbidden to smoke or vaping inside the perimeter of the event. Anyone wanting to smoke will have to go outside the main doors.
The following items are allowed: chairs, strollers, cameras, blankets, umbrellas and pets on duty.
There will be a designated area for veterans and persons with reduced mobility along the crowd line. Chairs will not be provided, please bring your own. Parking is provided for disabled permit holders (up to maximum capacity reached) and a drop-off point is available in front of the airport terminal.
